To anyone thinking of using Zit Autos - just make sure you check the car over before you take it. Make them note down every scratch and dent otherwise you could end up having to pay for repairs.

I checked over a car but couldn't see everything as it was dark as was 7 at night. Chap noted down marks that I could see. When I dropped the car off there were big marks behind front wheel. I hadn't had an accident or anything so must have been there when I picked car up. Girl was really shirty with me. Luckily I had paid the extra insurance so wasn't stung for goodness knows how many euros it would have taken to repair the car.

Beware!

Howayis,
just to say i have just rented a car thru carvoeiro carental and to be honest its the best deal i,ve gotten on car hire since going to the algarve.
In fairness its cheaper than even zitauto and they were for nothin,all most of us want is cheap transport and this is it.We are all using his website for info ,directions,maps,etc for free so why not give steen the turn when it comes to renting a car.It has to make sense.If there are problems we know where to find him to complain.So if your like me and reckon one car hire firm is as good as another throw him the biz,if your mate next door is a brickie who do you get to build your walls.?

Hi Gerry, I think your last posting is a really good way to look at things, and hopefully will set an example. I'm not so sure about your advice about the brickie next door, he made a real mess of the wall across the road !!
