claro que é boa ideia. A musica no Largo só torna as noite de Verão mais agradáveis e divertidas. O que seria do Largo sem animação.biffa wrote:Good idea or bad idea? Some are complaining! Please vote!
E não é só o turista que beneficia da música no Largo mas também toda a população local. bem haja, e espero que a música no Largo não acabe.

Re: If you can't see the button...
Steen, I haven't voted and I've never seen the vote button. looking at the hits on this and the votes, I think there may be a few others, unless I'm being totally stupid here. I have had a good look though for the vote bit.Steen Jakobsen wrote:If you can't see the button it's because you've already voted.

You're right...
You're right; only registered users are allowed to vote. It is how the forum is made and the only way to make absolutely sure that results are not twisted.

music in the Square
I've just voted for music to be continued in the square. However, I've only ever seen it once on the six visits I've paid to Carvoeiro and that was during August 1993. All the other trips were off season - March or October/November.
Next visit is planned for the middle of March 03, will there be music then

Music in the Square
It's definitely a great idea - I would love to see some out of seaon too! I know there's not loads of people and those of you who live there will say it's too cold. Believe me cold is England!! Coming to Carvoeiro in a couple of weeks - can't wait! Keep that good weather for me!

live music
IF the music is paid by the owners of the bars and restaurants on the square thats fine but if its paid by public money ( junta de freguesia )it not correct because those owners are making profit without spending any money and public money has to be spend in schools, better roads, hospitals for better health service, green parks etc and not to be spend for people shake they ass for free. thx p.s concerts must be paid show to every one

The music on the square is sponsored by the restaurants/bars that profit from it, obviously. They have to purchase a licence just like everyone else and they also have to pay their musicians themselves.
If you pay several gazillion €€€ when you buy a place in that location (I am sure you can imagine first row sea-side is never cheap) you will be looking into ways to make some revenue.
Fair play to them, keep up the good work.
