I think its about 8 cm...but you see when it comes to water all items (despite "metric") are given in imperial...so you buy a 3/4 inch tap for example...so I will stick with 3 inches

re. 3ins = 75mm or 7.5cm:

On discussion today I was advised that it would take at least 10 times more than we had yesterday to get anywhere near reality of sufficient water supply.

Yet as you know heavy developement & golf courses continue to spring up like mushrooms and as I understand it on another posting that I am just about to read in depth is a"rumour"of a mammoth MGM theme park in the Algoz area....and the only area I can think of would be in the vicinity of CrazyWorld....crazy would be the correct word if the rumour is true (Silves Camara again)!!!

How is the rainfull levels? Is the upturned water bottle full yet?

Don't know about Martin's upturned bottle but no, there hasn't been much rain after those initial few downpours a couple of weeks ago.
