May I just add my two cents and thank Steen for this unbelievable and initially singlehanded effort. It is a testament to success that this web site is one of the most well visited in the entire Algarve.

Peterm, I would suggest just setting up your own test forum and running it- in order to get familiar with it.... experience is the best knowledge and should you come unstuck the http://www.phpbb.com forums are a great help.

Can I add two more cents. We discovered Carvoeiro, and for that matter the Algarve which we had previously ignored, because of this web site. That was two years ago, and after many visits we have now purchased our own villa. We love the place and can't thank Steen enough for his efforts. I'm sure we can all forgive a minor hiccup.

Falcon, I've done that already. I was just trying to find out from Steen whether he is having a hardware or software problem. Running a little test system at home and running one with hundreds of subscribers are quite different matters. I was just trying to get some info and was taken quite the wrong way.
