Used them a few times from Aldergrove but city airport unfortunately not convenient for me (travelling from south). Think it was March 2012 that we last flew A/L from Belfast (Aldergrove) and the aircraft was less than half full, so not surprised they have moved to city airport. A/L fly 319's from Belfast (same as EasyJet but with 2 rows less).

Don’t think Aer Lingus fly anywhere from Aldergrove anymore sadly, but would have thought Belfast City would have been a breeze for you Joey, motorway all the way to Belfast, straight through Belfast on the Westway and out the Shore road, were I live in Co. Down it takes 40 minutes to either one.

) used A/L from city airport in September, so maybe too quick to cross it off list. Friends who flew from Cork to UK last week reported that Ryanair staff in Cork were much more friendly and even joked about weight of carry on bags. No one measured the bags on their flight. Changed times indeed!

It seems that Mr O’Leary has softened his attitude in general, asking Ryanair staff to be more friendly and in his private life were I have been following with interest his little contretemps with the Irish Turf Club, gone from promising to sue the arse of them to withdrawing his complaint. Going soft in his old age
