Re: Which is cheaper - Easyjet or BA?
Last time we went out to Portugal we flew from Gatwick with BA as they were offering returns to Faro at £50 each, even with the drive and the pre booked car park (would have had to park the car anyway at Bristol)it was still muck cheaper than Easyjet who wanted nearly £130 each return.....
This time we are doing Easyjet from Bristol at about the same sort of price we could have done it with BA, so the drive isn't worth it.
In the summer we fly for free (except taxes) with BA from Gatwick as it starts and ends our holiday in a better way than being crammed on an Easyjet flight full of children and pushy parents.

Has anyone actually flown Gatwick to Faro on Aer Lingus yet?
I know they were offering cheap flights and that their extra charges were heavy but wondered how their service compares?

You will be fine with Aer Lingus, nice leather (allocated) seats, pretty Irish Hostesses and of course free Guinnesscereza wrote:Has anyone actually flown Gatwick to Faro on Aer Lingus yet?

It is possib;le to get some good deals with BA when they have offers. I flew out to Faro on New Years Day 2008 (yes I know that's not a popular time to fly but at £45 too good to resist) and I have flights booked for October at I think £75 out with BA and then back with Monarch.
