yes Digger --our Jane has been critised in the past for absence of sex scenes--but if you havent yet seen it--watch the latest BBC1 (1995)production --and its all there in the --eyes and heaving bosoms of those very lowcut dresses of Miss Elizabeth Bennet and others--and of course --the girls all went for Mr Darcy's wet clinging shirt scene(the smouldering Colin Firth)--it isnt graphic --as so much is today--but the way he looks at her in the ballroom scene- says it all --he wants her like mad

Have just finished a good little novel that I would specially recommend to those interested in the world of painting:
"Girl with a Pearl Earring" ...by Tracy Chevalier.
Its set in mid 17th century Nederlands and around the life of Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer.
Something different and does 'draw you' into the world of art.
Im off out now..to look for other 2 that shes written:
Falling Angels
The Virgin Blue.
I believe the films just been released of "Girl with a Pearl Earring"
starring Colin Firth..so look forward to seeing it!........Ellie
