I can't beleive all this is happening, given where Sully's is situated in relation to the police station!!

More to the point, why should they care? Knowing full well that an intervention would mean putting themselves in harms way to lock up a person for a few nights only to have to let them go because he/she is not charged.

This whole thing boils down to consumer attitude - if you don't like the place, don't go there. There are so many alternatives around town, so why would you want to dive into the mosh pit?

Err hello, there have ALWAYS been drugs sold and taken in Carvoeiro. Ever noticed a group going down onto the beach at night or sitting against the boats, it's not to play footie or cards, and those nice GNR chappies taking their dogs for walks around Carvoeiro at night, and the raids in the bars and beach..

I see no one has a problem with the large amounts of alchool being sold and consumed. Only difference between drugs and alchool is one is leagl the other isn't.

i think people are over reacting about sully's and what's going on in carvoeiro, one thing is for sure carvoeiro is like jeckyl&hide during the day it's a relaxing tourist fishing village with amazing scenary and views, at night (late) night or early morning as you want to call it everything changes speacilly at weekends, people drink too much and become stupid, and of course for an instant a****** just ad alchool, and the ocasional fight happens, but doesn't that happen everywhere that alchool and drugs mix? and of course people are not doing drugs in front of everyone, gnr in carvoeiro is not that liberal about drugs, at least not yet, as gambrinus said if you don't like the place (sully's)go somewhere else!
