Walks around Carvoeiro
Walks around Carvoeiro
Hi, virgin poster here.
Does anyone have any details, or a reference to a good book, on walks around CV or the surrounding area?
I would also be interested on the same info for walks anywhere in the Algarve, especially the Monchique Hills.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am keen to stretch my legs during a visit later this year.

I have an excellent book called Algarve Rother Walking Guide (The Finest valley and mountain walks) by Ulrich Enzel. ISBN 3-7633-4825-5. www.rother.de (It's translated into English).
It has 51 walks, small maps, photos, text including starting points, distance, time, refreshments etc It covers coastal walks and inland.
I think I got it from www.maps.com who also do some really good maps with a scale 1:25 000 (I have one which shows the villa).
