I will be visiting Carvoeiro shortly with a child with a cows' milk allergy - does anyone know whether a product called 'RICE DREAM' (rice milk) is available locally? Thanks a lot

You can get rice milk at Continente in Portimao in the health food section at the front of the store on the left as you are facing it. No doubt the Continente at Algarve Shopping sells it too.

Thanks - its great to know that I can get it somewhere! Intermarche would be perfect though - anyone come across it in there?

Checked in Intermarche today and they sell every type of soya milk you can think of but no rice milk. It's in the health food aisle near to the butcher's section if it's any good to you.
