Sea temp

And a very warm evening to you all,
mother and i were wondering when is the sea up to a temperature where you can have a swim without getting hypothermia.I have visited at various times of the year but the sea temperature never seams to alter. sometimes feels like the north sea but without the brown colour. Wish we could move CVO somewhere near cyprus.

A couple of years ago, the sea temp. at Bridlington was the same as CVO. This was late July. It's the Atlantic, depth and currents that keep it degrees cooler than the Med. But that's what cools the air temperature down at night making it much more comfortable sleeping. I tend to go for my sea swim late afternoon after the sun has done its best

Yes the sea is "COLD" but it's fine once you get used to it. How I try to explain it to people is, that it is the Atlantic Ocean ~ and The Titanic sunk in The Atlantic Ocean!!

P.S. Yes, and before anyone says anything, I'm aware it was much further north than CVO.
