I will be in Carvoeiro from 10th - 17th April and will be bringing 3 families down with me. Can anyone tell me what markets are open at the moment and what day of the week they are on. I think the market at Alvor is on Tuesday but that is the date that we arrive. Is the market at loule still on the go ? Any help would be appreciated. I have organised a good number of things to keep the kids happy but now for the biggest kids of all !!!!!!

Loule market is every Saturday
Quarteira market is every Wednesday
I don't know the dates of the travelling markets!!

Portimão is the first Monday of every month, try parking outside the market walk along the river to the centre of Portimão have a wonder about the shops and something to drink, then walk (or get the purple vai-vem outside the casa Inglesa to the parque das sardinhas/feiras) back to the car

Lagoa is the second Sunday of every month except July, August and September, don't forget to buy a fartura on your way out

I think Silves is the third Tuesday of every month, I'm not sure about this one, but know it's bigger than Lagoa
