Stolen goods

I have just been out to my car and find I have had a break-in.

My two aviation headsets were taken - useful only to pilots - in blue padded cloth cases.

If anyone in CVO sees or hears of such items being sold/offered in any of the the bars etc., would they please let me know.

Although virtually worthless to anyone else, they will cost me a lot to replace.

I have already notified the local airports to minimise the market for them.

Bad luck Roy. We too had our car broken into (November) and its a pain in the b*tt. I hope you don't have any damage to get repaired. Will pass on info to all those we know who work in bars etc.

I suspect that when they find that the headphones do not work with their Ipod, they'll just chuck them in the bin.

The tennis ball trick is an old one, police friends of our have used it to open locked cars on many occaisions, has replaced the old bent pce of wire many of us carried.

Using a tennis ball to open a car door does not necessarily work as any air pressure entering the lock would escape and not unlock the door. However anyone wishing to try go to hhtp://www.break.com/index/unlock_your_car_wit ... _ball.html and try. Perhaps carry a toilet plunger in your back pocket for faster results.
