A nice Vinho Verde is the one with the blue label which looks like lace on it, Casal Garcia, it is about 2.65 euros from the supermarkets. Also we like the red, white and rose wine called Alandra the lable has holes cut into it to look like a bunch of grapes again only about 2 - 3 euros a bottle.
We will look for these wines at the Intermarche when we shop there. Does anyone else have any good recommendations of wines that can be purchased in CVO? We have bought local wines before and have been disappointed. We love wine so it would be great to find a good one![]()

Well after all the replies, I did jot down the names recommended, but like a (plonk)er didn't take the list with me!!!
Wasn't allowed on the plane cos it related to liquids!!
But we did try Casal Garcia Vinho Verde as Jean said The wines I recommended were the cheaper end of the market but very good 'breakfast wines' we like really light, easy drinking wines. Each to their own on this one I think. Wink really enjoyed that one at lunchtime, Breakfast a bit too early for us
Will take recommednations with us next time we go to CVO. but please lets keep this thread running.
