water park and zoomarine

Post by Robbie »

Just a quick question on the two waterparks within driving distance to Carvoeiro. I am just trying to put some plans together for my kids during our next stay in July. Would you recommend Aqualand (the big one) or Slide and Splash. I know Slide and Splash is very close by so that is a big plus. I will however have a car so the drive wont bother me. Also does anyone know where I would pick up discount tickets for Zoomarine. Would the shop in the airport teminal be best ?? After a couple of days around the pool the young ones start to get restless and I don't want to listen to it again this time. The parks were closed when we were down in March and I got an earful from them. They even blame me for the weather !!!!!!
cheers

 Hi Robbie, well it is hard to say which one is better, both have great slides and pools etc, maybe a visit to both could be on the cards?

I think you will find that there are quite a few places in Carvoeiro that sell the discounted tickets, one that comes to mind is about half way up the 'out' road heading towards Lagoa, but I believe that Hotel Sol on the front also sells then.

Have a great time, the kids will love it.

i would recommend slind and splash weve been there 3 times now and always had a good day out, its easy to drive to but we also tried the coachs which were very good. maybe if your kids are old enough they could go on the coachs??? just an idea.... zoomarine is also a good day out, probley spend more time at slide and splash since there are only so many shows at zoomarine and be at the shows in advance if you want a seat!!!

enjoy your stay
