what I like about Carvoeiro
what I like about Carvoeiro
What I like about about Carvoeiro is when I check out the webcam at about 8.00 PM Canadian Time (that MST for the Central Canadians and 3.00 AM for the Carvoeiro folks) all is peaceful and quiet on the square; makes you feel that all is well in our world. I hope it will never change because that is what makes you feel safe and secure, it's like that anyway in the winter, but it gives me a feeling of security when I see it even in the more "touristy" season. Please let's all try and work towards of keeping it that way. Have a wonderful weekend. Heini

Me2 H, Log on at weird times just to look, maybe grass is always greener syndrome kicks in but the webcam does things for me. At work when all is going tits up I try to to have a "mellow birds" moment in front of my screen, my staff think I am watchin.... well who knows what they think but the webcam deffo helps.

I think Carvoeiro will always retain its fishing village ambience. Its a rather small area around the square & beach, so I can't see anything changing much. To me theres that 'family holiday 'feel to it there;an intimacy, which is rather nice
Confess, I don't look at the webcam that much, or that closely and when I do, its just to see if the sky is blue or cloudy!
nite all

Checking Webcam daily from UK
I have a link to the webcam in my favourites both at work and at home, and visit it frequently during the day. We cannot wait and are looking forward to moving out to retire in CVO towards the end of next year - depending on when Terracos da Vigia completes.
