Cvo in October

I am thinking of coming out to Cvo in October this year during the school holidays towards the end of the month, Can anyone please tell me what the weather will be like at that time, Im more used to coming out in June/ July/August but I have been there in April, how does it compere to any of those months. Thanks in advance.

:lol: I think you will find it is about the same as the spring, usually nice and warm during the day but chilly at night, you will probably need a jacket or cardi/jumper if you are out in the evenings. I think it is a lovely time of the year.

We were in town mid-October last year. Two mornings we had rain but otherwise fantastic. Mid-twenties most days - I got burned on the beach having felt I wouldn't need any sun cream. Swam in the sea most days. Everywhere seemed to be open (although understandably nothing doing in the square) and we visited all of the main coastal resorts from Tavira to Lagos (from where we took a boat trip). Also took in Silves and Monchique. I agree its a great time of year and I gather you'd be unlucky to get sustained rain. Certainly quieter in terms of traffic etc. as you'd imagine. Pack a fleece for the evening and I'll see you at Jota Lita!
