at 3 am (check schedules) there is a learn portuguese course...was quite good last time I saw it.

It is probably the "Discovering Portuguese" one. You can books, tapes etc to go along with the TV programme. It was a little dated the last time I saw it, but still not bad and a good introduction to the language. Maybe they have revamped it by now.
