All,

I will be arriving next Thursday the 14th and yet to book a car.

I know there are plenty of places for car hire, I had a bad experiance with a car hire company once and it cost me a small fortune.

Does anybody know of a reliable car hire company , quality rather than price, eliable and honest

?.

Plus the Dolphin trips for port mao, are they guaranteed.

I travel to the Algarve three times a year. I always use the following company

www.carjet.co.uk

They have always been very reliable and normally the cheapest. They use Budget at Faro airport which is handy as they have a rental pick up and drop off point at the airport.
I have also used them from Lisbon airport, once again no problems.

My lady wife and I were in Cvo in May and we used www.algarvedriver.com (as seen on the home page of this web site). They were excellent.

Delivered to and collected from our hotel. Car was first class and price very competitive.
We can't speak too highly of them.

go no further than zitauto who are consistently the cheapest and service is second to none.

As I recall, there's a fairly hefty fee levied by those vendors with premises at the airport. On the other hand, some vendors, eg algarvedriver, let you pick up their cars from the parking lot w/o incurring this extra fee.

always go with Algarvedriver.com as advertised on the CVO site they have competitive prices and we have always been pleased with them. Car is picked up at the airport car park and dropped of at the same place.
