Hi Leigh,
Yes it can get a bit draughty
but we usually go in the cooler months which hve always been hot fortunately even at night and then we have only needed a lightweight jacket, cardi. and light waterproof in case of odd shower or for going up into mountains or West coast which can get very draughty
Have a great holiday - we'll be there end of September and will not be packing any thick jeans, jumpers. Most important thing to pack, suncream, headache pills, painkillers for kids if needed? The chemist is good but can be expensive and we always end up having to go there if the kids get prickly heat but the stuff in Portugal is always better than UK stuff anyway. Haven't ever come across the mozzies but maybe we are just lucky???

Mozzy spray or roll on stick a good idea. Alos some mozzy protection in your bedroom - one of the electric plug in things is a good idea. They will bite your ankles!
Evenings now are cool but very pleasant indeed. I am wearing shorts and short sleeve shirts but some may need something a little warmer. Layers is the answer

Hi Biffa,
Do you feel the cold???? I feel the cold and I have sat outside bars in Carvoeiro at night (last time was Mid October last year) with virtually nothing on top
and still been warm. Anyway, hope you are warm tonight in beautiful Carvoeiro?
Hope it'll be hot at night in September when we return

Maddi, you make it sound so easymaddi wrote:. . . a gentle breeze in all the right places can do half the work . . .
Its the other half thats really difficult. The expensive dinners, the jewelry, flowers, whispering sweet nothings, remembering birthdays. Thats the real hard work, but surely you know that

gentle breeze
i suppose it depends on what you`re wearing at the time...?
Sweet nothings and remembering birthdays cost nothing but a moment of your time, that means being in your thoughts and knowing that she's loved and cared for . . . if you got that who needs the other stuff. Its the other half thats really difficult. The expensive dinners, the jewelry, flowers
Oh and of course that gentle breeze, provided by Mother Nature herself, because she knows what us girls like
