Best beach in the Algarve?

Praia da Marinha !
From Carvoeiro take the road to benagil and then follow the signs " Caramujeira and then " Praia da Marinha".

One of my favourite spots is Praia do Pintadinho; second one is Armação de Pera (the first beach when you enter from Porches) and the third one I like is Praia dos Salgados.

On the subject of Praia da Marinha - I have to agree it is such a beautiful beach but I'm unaware of any toilet facilities. I believe the beach bar frowns upon anyone asking to use their loo and I'm always very cagey about what lurks in that dark hole (cave).....oops has the penny just dropped.....is that the loo ?

I have noticed the beach has been shortened in length somewhat from previous years...I presume there was a substantial rockfall which blocked off the far end of the beach.

Praia da Cacela,Manta Rota,Montegordo Ilha do Farol(Island) Ilha de Tavira(Island) those are some of the best beaches in the Algarve and the water is actually warmer then in the west side of the Algarve also not as touristic as the west side of the Algarve.Enjoy it:-)
