Casa Ramos

Apologies in advance if I am breaching site etiquette.

I wonder if anyone has stayed at Casa Ramos on Estrada Do Farol? Looking to rent a villa and a bit of a departure for us as we've always stayed at MC in an apartment.

Its a two bed place with pool and looks nice. However, as it is a fair bit over our usual budget, I'd appreciate any thoughts on location or, if anyone knows the palce, a bit of an overview.

I wonder whether this is a bit of crafty advertising, or am I being cynical?
Perhaps there might be more replies if the subject was moved to the Property Forum?

I made the original post. It's not a bit of crafty advertising. If you think about it, it would be a bit risky wouldn't it? It's an open forum and all somebody has to say is it's noisy up there or there's building going on, or it's the rotten end of the town and that puts paid to that. I've stayed at MC a few times but can't place exactly where on Farol this villa is. All I was after was a bit of an opinion as I'm looking to spend quite a bit of hard earned cash. I understood the Property section was to do with owning rather than renting. Thanks anyway.

There is a Casa Ramos at the top of Estrada do Farol on the corner of the turning to Os Peixes. (Just past A Rede restaurant on the opposite side of the road).

Don't know if this is the one, and don't know what it is like inside, but it is in a good location.

Many thanks ktee (I made original post). I'm sure this is the one. I've booked the place on the strength of the agent's description and some specific questions but its nice to get an independent view on the location.
Appreciate your help. Holiday booked for July so a while to wait. However, something to look forward to - not much danger of sunstroke here at present.

It's me again. Well, that was a waste of time as the owner gave it to someone else. So much for advertising!
