GP needed

We are in need of a GP visit, could you please tell me what the protocol is here and the name and address of an English speaking Dr.

Deb, when I have needed a doctor to visit the villa, I have used Dr Vieira 282 350 780 he charges 50 euros for the visit, but check the cost first.

I thought you needed a house visit. You can go to the walk in place in Lagoa. If you do a search on here for doctors it should bring up lots of information for you.

My daughter visited the doctor's office above Smilers Bar at the square in CVO regarding our 2 year old grand-daughter. Well pleased with visit.

There is a very good English speaking German Dr up in the main square at Monte Carvoeiro

If you go to the health centre in Lagoa with your EHIC card, you see a Dr pretty quickly for about €3......the English is pretty good, usually....or they find a nurse who speaks English.

We have been coming to Carvoeiro for 21 years and have always used the Health Centre in Lagoa.
My brother had a perforated eardrum and was sent by the Health Centres Dr Jesus to Portimao hospital where he saw a specialist on a Bank Holiday Monday for a nominal charge. We cannot fault either. We have never used any of the private Drs.
