Today has been very depressing. Firstly woke up about 5am rain absolutely lashing down,started to leak in my bathroom. Went to work got soaked wet through, had a headache all day. Still, another 2 weeks and I'm off on my hol's (not CVO though,) been 11 years on the trot, thought we'd try Italy, just for a change, hope its nice

Well as Gerry was tallking about me on this subject, thought I might as well join in. Its bright but chilly here in Essex. Work is horrible and I want to be back in CVO as soon as possible. So either E.R.N.I.E or the lottery needs to get doing something.

Well I would have posted on this yesterday but, firstly we had no electricity all day and then, when I thought, that's ok the laptop has a battery, I realised that we had no phone line either, the storm on Sunday evening had brought our line down.
When I woke at 6.45am it was chucking it down with rain and the wind was blowing a gale. As the day progressed we ended up with bright sunshine and clear blue skies!
I also have a wonderful view of hills, fields and cattle and horses from my window, so I too feel very lucky.
Me and my other significant other half are off to Bridgenorth for a family wedding this Thusday, should be fun, but I don't know if it fits the exciting bracket!

You did have a day of it yesterday didn't you?
Your wedding date sounds interesting to me, I'm off on a jollie with work on Thursday, which involves staying overnight in a hotel and probably getting more drunk than I want to.

getting chilly here as well(amsterdam). trees are losing their leeves...winter is on its way! at least i can use the fireplace again. i love fireplaces

hehe well robin i love the sun as well but just trying to see the positive aspects of the changing seasons!

Well Bleeker I must admit that the changes of season does have its positive 'romantic'aspects..... the long and cold evenings with candlelight and the lit fireplace, long walks in the snow....the cold frosty wind on the cheek and of course 'ERWTENsoep!!!', boerenkoolstampot and other good meals. ....

Though I prefer sun!
