The disadvantage of loving CVO so much is the "downer" I always feel having to leave. Particularly when we left on Sunday 6.4.14 in beautiful sunshine after a rather disappointing week whether wise. I notice this week is looking good and apparently before we arrived on 29.3.14 it had been nice. So, for the first time ever CVO let me down regarding the whether. The rain on Tuesday 1.4.14 was unbelievable!! However, with a hire car this did allow us to do things we probably would not have done in sunshine, for example, we went to Portimau Museum. Still a great holiday and I must mention the excellent facilities and service at Vale D'Oliveiras, a beautiful place to stay. Plus, together with some of our usual restaurant visits we went to Fim Do Mundo - wow!! This is an excellent place to eat and the quality of meat used is fantastic. Jo & Fiona certainly look after you and the whole experience was wonderful. So, altogether, another great stay in CVO. With other holiday commitments I won't be back in 2014, our next visit will be June next year. It will be hard as I haven't gone over twelve months between visits since we started staying in CVO. One advantage for you all, I will probably be quiet on the forum until my next visit

Sorry we missed meeting up at VdO. We're still there........Jorge looking after us very well!!
