Forum Meetups - Are they still taking place?

Post by Michael Crane »

Reproduced an earlier post . . . .

It has been decided (by those interested) to restart the Forum Meet-ups.

Those so inclined to meet with others from the forum can now do so each Saturday, 11.00 - 12.00 at Bar Seismarias, known by all as Rosa's Bar. To help you find it here is a Google Map showing the bar's location - CLICK HERE.

It is a quiet bar at which you can chat without having to shout over the music and drinks are very reasonably priced. You can come along and have a chat, or you could sit quietly close by and take a peek at us.

Over the years Sharen and I have formed many friendships via this forum, and I hope, when we attend our next Forum Meet-up, to add to that list.

Remember when we could buy Carvoeiro forum 'Orange' badges, I think e-richard sorted that out. It was great to pin one on your bikini (or handbag) :D
and helped identify fellow forumers (?) broke the ice a bit

I still have the original issue members tee shirt with my name printed on it. The idea was that not only would the logo identify forum members but also who they were.

Me too - T shirt and badge. Why not reinstate the Saturday morning meet-ups in Rosa's, say 11.00 - 13.00 :?:

At least if no-one shows up you can sup probably the cheapest beer in town

Still proud to wear our badges even when not in CVO. We wear ours when we go to Cabanas de Tavira just in case we bump into someone in the know!!!!

RE badges etc. Click HERE to see badges I have had supplied for my Hisaronu forum. Blade Printers can do an 'orange' badge based upon our oranges and there is no minimum order . . . so far as I know.

On my Facebook profile image (until I change it) you can see my Hisaronu The Forum badge. It identified me to many members and got me a few free drinks into the bargain! 8)

I've still got my badge but one 'disappeared' from the villa when some work was being done...someone out there may be posing as a forum member
