Just back from a month in CVO and thought I would share my comments. On the times we ventured into CVO (we stay at RB and got rather put off by the time it takes the taxis to collect) it was buzzing. A few more teenagers worse for wear and using rather industrial language than normal but when the music was on the stage on the square it was a great atmosphere. Every night we had to book to get the restaurant we wanted and this did lead to some elongated meals, a couple of which were starting to annoy until the high quality food arrived!

Then in the last week it was amazing how much quieter it got - surprising given that the kids didnt go back to school until this week.

As far as cost was concerned prices seemed very similar to last year and with the aid of the better exchange was actually cheaper in real (British) terms.

One major gripe - the 125 was absolute chaos on the few times I couldnt avoid it - 1.45 hrs to get from RB to Vilamoura?!

Now when are next Summer's flight timetables released !!

Glad you enjoyed your trip J, they will just have to contend with young Pato and myself for a few weeks now.
