Best restaurant for 10 year anniversary
Re: Best restaurant for 10 year anniversary
I'm going with Reis de Prais at Canieros beach, Mainly for the view and atmosphere
Re: Best restaurant for 10 year anniversary
Canerios is a bit limited if you dont like fish or seafood.
How about villa joya

Julio's is a restaurant that used to be very popular although it did have a reputation for favouring 'regulars'
It would be great to see a recent review, anybody been?

The menu reads very well, so we'll give it a try.

Hi
If by beach you mean Rei das Praias then you will have to book. Don't worry about the comment about lack of choice for non seafood as there is always fillet steak and chicken and sometimes duck. If you want lobster ask in advance - we go every year for our anniversary and have lobster, champagne and fillet.

Re: Best restaurant for 10 year anniversary
Tricky - took the missus there on her birthday 8th Aug party of 10 and it was our first time visit having eaten in most of the others on here...service and location unbeatable, food on a par with Maximes and not too pricey considering we had so many bottles of wine - excellent menu choices. My view is its worth a trip, book early as it gets full well in advance, we went on the upper terrace ...we will be back next visit Oh and I have more browny pioints than you can shake a stick at!!tricky wrote:cumbria sue wrote:not been for a few years but always had a lovely meal at Julio's
