Its signposted all over Estombar but basically when you go over the bridge you turn immediately left and keep going, its on the right before the animal sanctuary
wish I could go. I have had some of the wine grown there and the white and rose was particularly good.

Go past slide and splash, turn right into Estombar and follow the signs, You go under the En125,then drive around the Quinta's fence until you get to the entrance

It's a delightful place, amazing scupltures, beautiful grounds and an interesting zoo corner.
We haven't tried the bottled wines, but the red wine box wasn't very good.
Shame, 8€ I think for 5 litres...it's very sharp.....the Alvor winery does a very good box at 12€ for 5 litres.

Interesting place.....but the wine nothing to write home about....and I promise we did sample quite a bit of it!!
Re: Sunday 18th March
My family had a very enjoyable afternoon at the Quinta, something different to what one normally does in the Algarve. Hardly any non Portuguese,
a free afternoon out, what more could you want?
Not tried the box red wine we bought but at €4.50 for 5 litres I think it will do for cooking if it turns out not to be as good as we hoped, although did enjoy the general wine tasting, tried the bottled red that was good, the girls like the rose, and 2 different whites (completely different tastes).

It sure sounds as if it beats a cloudy, grey , cold, day in England!
