A little help may be required !

Hi,I have recently posted requiring some advice regarding car hire and good reasonably priced restaurants in relation to our up coming holiday in Sesmarias.Taking your comments on board I have now booked our car hire with the websites favourites Algarvedrivers, thanks for that.
I have thought long and hard about asking for a little more help, as will become arapparant,but have decided to do so as you lot seem so freindly and helpfull.So here we go......

About eighteenth months ago my lovely wife, Celia, was diagnosed with Alshiemers, early dementure.She is only in her mid fiftys, so quite young to be troubled by this thing. I had to pack up my little buisiness to become her full time carer.As you will probably understand, I have been a little apprehensive about this holiday, we are afterall coming down there by ourselves.We will be staying in a small villa that one of my relatives own ( along with his Bank ! )
Everything should be ok, but it would be really nice to have a contact telephone number of someone living out there who may be able to help out if something goes a bit pearshaped,which hopefully wont happen.All I will need is advice to the right people to contact.So it's down to you lot again !

Really looking forwards to this break and coming down to Fab CVO.

Having to deal with a family member with quite advanced dementure I know how hard it is. With this condition, as with others, it is the loved ones who it impacts on. The ones who become carers and whose life becomes dedicated to someone's welfare. I sincerely hope you both enjoy the break - being a little controversial, I hope YOU chill and have some quality time. Take care

Thanks for your thoughts Lamby.Your observations are totally spot on.
I sort of rushed into this holiday a couple of weeks ago when I was feeling a little stressed.In hindsight it would have probably been better if we had arranged to holiday with some friends or family (it's a 4 bed villa we are staying in ).That way I might have got a little "me" time.On the plus side, Celia has always been a very pleasent person and remains so.
