Weather and car rentals
Re: Weather and car rentals
Thanks for that,we will give A Fonte a try.
Re: Weather and car rentals
I have used Algarvedriver for quite a while and would happily recommend - in fact I have to a friend and she now recommends Algarvedriver if people renting her appt ask about car hire.
How is the weather in cvo - my sister is at the villa and when I last heard from her at the weekend it was OK. I did warn her that rain was forecast but she's always lucky - unlike me as I've seen more than my fair share of rain this year in cvo.

I have now booked the car through Algarvedriver.I did have another look at Atlaschoice car rentals and they were going to be quite alot cheaper,so I then looked up some revues on them and they were awful, better to have peace of mind.

Re: Weather and car rentals
Just back from Faro airport (well a few wines have passed really) after picking up my good lady. Things seemed a bit hectic, new arrivals are bussed from the tarmac to an area in front of the arrivals hall area but if, as today, you have several flights arriving within a short time slot, then problems. Didn't help that a transfer bus arrived at the barrier which appeared not to have approved to acces the new temporary arrangements. We passed couple of buses with some rather hot and weary passengers pressed against the bus windows.
