Good morning! A very large slice of that pie, please............ Er, I do believe it's the one known as Humble?

Congratulations Portugal, you deserved it on the night, Spain didn't play at all like they can, but that is normal for them at any major tournament

So what now? Portugal v England on Thursday. A few divided loyalties that night methinks? Hang on, am I counting chickens again or will Croatia have something to say tonight about my mystic predictions?

Hi Anchovy

Fancy some Sardines

I suppose you are tipping England to do to Croatia what you forecast Spain would have done to Portugal

Do you have any other useful predictions :o

Hi td.... Sardines? No thanks, what do you think I am, a cannibal??

I don't think I'd better predict anything else, do you? The Spanish flag has now been taken down from my house, but the cross of St George is still fluttering bravely. I'd really like England to progress so I won't be giving them the kiss of death like I did to Raul and Co.

Oh b***s, I can't help it, here we go............... England to win 3-1. After going behind early, goals from Lampard, Beckham and Campbell turn the game for the English, setting up an intriguing quarter final against Portugal...........

To be resumed..........

Oh heck..... I hope you don't hold me single handedly responsible for hundreds of the nutcase yobs rioting in Portugal due to Eng er lund being knocked out tonight.....

Maybe I'd better do something quick to remedy it..... Let's see.... Croatia to win at a stroll, 6-0.... That should sort it out!

Well done England, but you must do much better at dead ball situations. Having watched football for far more years than I care to remember I can't recall any player making the impact that young Rooney has - lets hope that the media don't crucify him when he has an off day!

Thursday 7.45pm v Portugal - too close to call, could be extra time & penalties - can't wait.

Just as Croatia scored the opening goal I answered the door to a lady collecting for Cancer Research which really puts a game of football into perspective.

Regards to all in CVO - I bet there's a buzz around the place this week.

I would very much like to see Portugal win the whole thing….This country has worked hard over recent years in preparation for the event, and OK the money comes from UEFA, but it’s UEFA who reap the profit. I think Portugal deserves to benefit more than from selling all the lager that goes with it….

I know nothing about football, and have no interest in the game, but so far in Euro 2004 I have had 100% accuracy in predicting the score of every match before it starts
