Well.....'Dank je well' Rob!

Yeah ..its pretty grotty here too...cloudy/drizzling..so no garden work for me..so its back to writing!
P.S. Yes ..Londons brighter ..but supposed to be moving up this way..Ill try to 'push ' it over to you in the Nederlands

P.P.S. Do I suspect youre a 'fan' of London? Do you know it? Im from south London and do miss the bright lights of Westend ..and the buzz of the city......
Like countryside here..but Ill always be a city girl at heart.......

I sure hope the weather is gonna be nicer than it is now, grey and dull , yak! yep push some nice weather this way if you can....lol.

About LOndon, I love the place. I did a placement in LOndon for 4 months (embankment area), Lived at South East (Old Kent Rd.). and went to the centre nearly every night ! It was a fantastic time, that's how I got to know kiss FM, LOndon and of course the great hospitality of the British!
How about you, why did you move some place else?

Hiya Rob!
Interesting to read that......the Old Kent Road is my old stomping ground!...but over recent year has changed quite a bit!
I dont get there much since moving here 4 years ago but was there last month...I feel sad to see some of the pubs gone..these were always the 'landmarks' along that famous road:
'The Dun Cow' (is that restaurant now?) ..The Thomas a Becket ..thats a club now I think but was always famous for its Gym where world famous boxers trained!
Im wondering where abouts you were there..as its quite a long road

Wheres the 'centre'?
Hey..Bob may get annoyed as we are 'poaching' his topic (the weather!)
Still horrible here at moment grey cloud all over

Bet theyre all sunning themselves in hot CVO Rob

How long you been visiting Algarve?
Dutch couple ran the newsagent there for years..now its SouthAfrican guy called Cappi...always buy my paper there...

I must say it has been 9 years now that I have been to the place but I liked it loads. My home was opposite of where KFC restaurant is and to the right of the Mc Donalds. if my memory is not tricking me I think the numer was 96? About the bars and restaurants I must admit I didn't visit them often there , I mainly went to the centre (Trav. Square, Soho, Pic. Circus etc.) nevertheless I did go to Soul Train and some Dodgy Kareoke bar kind of thing.
The Dun Cow sounds familiar.......
Anyway, weather is still grey and dull I get really annoyed watching weather forcast from south Europe: > 30 degrees.................pfffffffffff, wish I was there!

Its blistering hot in Muscat just now.
The cold water tank is on the roof and and the 'cold' water is now way too hot to shower in.
In a total reversal of the usual, we've now switched off the hot water tank so that we can use it to cool down our showers.
Phew!

Jeez... only another four months until the weather cools down again.
Troglodites till then.
