A new life in Carvoeiro

Thank you all so much for your comments and information regarding our planned move to Carvoeiro.

We are hoping to move there early 2012 and are saving, learning the language and reading all available info on life in Portugal to ensure our move is a successful one.

We are more tempted to rent for a year first now although it feels like wasted money that could have gone to buying a nicer home, but I totally understand that we need to ensure we can earn enough to 'live' first. We like many others wish to get out of the rat race here and understand that we would not have the same amount of money when living in Carvoeiro but I think that is the trade off for a better lifestyle.

Once again thank you for your help and hopefully we will soon have the opportunity to meet you all.
