Canada in CVO !

Post by Ellie »

Hope Steen/G/ and Kteee..will allow me this little spot please......
Its the only way I know how....I might possibly get a message to two young Canadian friends who arrived in Carvoeiro yesterday!
Paul and his wife Christina..on there very first visit.....and today they celebrate their 10th Wedding anniversary! :D
I was meant to meet up with them sometime this week..but they had left Canada just before I had to cancel my trip. :(
Dear Christina and Paul,
Hope you're having a wonderful celebration meal this evening! Many warm congratulations to you both! :)
Also hope you are having a great holiday on your first visit to Algarve! I feel sure you are and youre certainly getting great weather!
Will write again soon.....much love Elliex

:D That would be the Paul who lives right here in Edmonton. We had a brief email contact, but since I was sitting on packed suitcases for my trip to Germany I didn't have time to bore him with my gushing about how wonderful Carveiro is and how much they will love it. Happy Anniversary Paul and Christina! Email me when you get back. Cheers

Thats the happy couple Heini! :)
I felt really upset at not being able to meet-up with them. They have my mobile no.(to contact me in CVO) but I didnt have theirs..so I thought there might be just a chance that they will come on here!!
I wonder where they chose for their special meal last night....I said Roma's was in romantic setting...
Also wondering if Trazie might meet them..they were interested in having boat out I think..and believe she contacted them.
Anyhow...Im sure they'll have wonderful time :)

:D How did you meet them Ellie? For me a romantic evening would be buying some really good wine and a few delicious cheeses and perhaps some presunto and pate a head to nice spot on the cliffs, ok take a blanket and a a cushion if you want to be more comfortable. Then have this wonderful picnic and watch the sunset, the seagulls, the ocean, the jetliners drawing their white puffy trails in the sky and dream the evening away. (And I know just the spot). Hmm, i got so carried away I think I'll post this part under the most romatinc restaurant topic as well. What do you think? Cheers,

First heard from Paul about last Autumn Heini :)
He wrote to say they enjoyed my little tales on the corner and we've sort of stayed in touch since then.
Hey! Your picnic on the clifftops sounds ideal for romance....I ate alfresco in a similar place..I can never remember right name..praia do Paraiso? where steep steps lead down to beach? Well I sat up there..to the left..on nice flat stone surrounded by wild flowers in April.A wonderful sunny afternoon.I sat listening to and watching lazy blue sea..bliss...but alas...I was alone :(
I think it would be much nicer there..just before dark..when the sky goes that deepest blue and stars just begin to peep..Know what I mean?
Are you gonna tell where that 'spot' is Heini..or is it your secret? 8)
Wheres this 'romantic restaurant 'topic ..have I missed it?and yes..do post it :)

 Ellie, a special spot may only be special to the people who found it and for some reason made it their own very special spot. "Ours" may not seem like much to others passing by and in fact you may have strolled by there at one time or another, its just what you make of the moment....
Look under "Restaurant Reviews" where tricky is looking for the most romantic restaurant for a dinner with her husband. Cheers
