It was used for live music during July and August, not sure whether there is any more planned for this year. Unfortunately, the events that are held are not widely advertised, unless I am not looking in the right places

I have just come home from Carvoeiro and they had music there the other night.. It was lovely while having your dinner listening to the music... They also had a firework display. They say because it was a bank holiday...

Just got back from CVO last night. Music on Sundays and Fridays.
The guy playing on a Sunday plays non-stop for 2 1/2 hours and really gets the watching crowd dancing.

On Friday the 2 girls that sing in the street opposite Ele & Elas and Oasis on Tuesdays were on the stage. I believe they're music teachers in portugal - v.good as well.

The stage has now gone from the square. The two girls were excellent. There was live music opposite Oasis on Tues and Thurs nights. The girls were on on Tuesdays. They were paid for by Oasis and some other restaurant/bar owners in the street.

The entertainment this summer was excellent, we really enjoyed it and gave the village a wonderful atmosphere. Its a shame that it is not extended to June to attract visitors. People who holiday outside the school holidays really miss out. :D

I have to say that the entertainment on the last weekend of August (the festival Sunday) was good fun. The square was packed and locals and tourists seemed to be having a whale of a time. Our two grandsons were alternating between watching the stage acts and running about on the beach. After the fireworks and a walk all the way up the hill, I think it took them minutes to fall asleep. :D

This is the first time we have actually managed to get to the square whilst there was something on.
