Paraiso Country Club

I am travelling to Carvoeiro on Saturday 5th June with my husband and a couple of friends. Could anybody please let me know how far the Country Club is from the centre of Carvoeiro as it would be far better to walk on an evening to the restaurants and bars than to drive. Also is the beach at Carvoeiro a beach for bathing or is more for fishing boats etc? Either would be good but I would like info on sunbathing beaches as well!

the beach is good for sunbathing and all the shops, cafes etc. are next to it if you want to cool down. Dont know where the country club is tho.

Thanks very much for the information about the beach. Unfortunately every photo I have seen it has been deserted! I didn't know if it was a "no go" area. I would like some information regarding the Country Club - knowing our luck it will be miles from anywhere and we'll have to travel everywhere by car (not what I want to do on holiday!) Thanks very much for the info. I was under the impression from the brochure (obviously mis-informed!) that the Country Club was quite close to cvo. Are those restaurants and bars in the place you mention any good? We don't want to miss out on all the fun! Cheers!

Stayed here last year - easy walking distance to town through short cut past the Jailhouse. Really nice complex with excellent bathing facilities and restaurant. Beach at Carvoeiro excellent for sunbathing and lots of really nice beaches on this coastline.
