PROGRESS ON THE NEW CAR PARK

Can anybody tell me what progress if any has been made on the new car park up near the church, when I was last there in mid-October they had just started.

The roads in that area have been dug up, we went to the algar seco cafe last week on one of the few sunny days in recent weeks and there is no access back down the hill into the village past the GNR station.

So are they actually building a new car park up by the church, I havn`t been out since last
June and nothing was happening then, in fact we always park up by the church and then
walk down the hill, does that mean that we wouldn`t be able to do this at the moment, we
shall be out at the beginning of February and as the parking is so limited down in the square
we found that to park at the top was the only answer.??

MaisieK, there is still access to the church - what was the road going down behind the primary school and past the Chinese restaurant is now one way going up (going up restaurant hill, it's across from the taxi rank on the right). It takes you right up to the church, then down past the GNR.
