I have never walked from Colina Village to Carvoeiro center. I do know for a fact the road is all well paved. I don't remenber if there are any sidewalks so you will mostly be walking in the road. I'll take a wild guess and say that it is no more than a two mile walk. Just enough to work up a good thirst.

Stoosh, it's not paved (your on the road)and uphill until you get to Aries Dos Moinos when there is a pavement of sorts, about 12 min walk (flat) The pavement (mosaic and bumpy) continues for about the next 8 mins and then back to the road again before reaching the top of Restaraunt Hill where it's pavement again. Total journey via that route about 25 mins. Get a cab it's safer and cheap. Colina de Lapa by the way is a nice place to be staying. Mike

Stoosh, we stayed at Colina Village last year in May. Although we had a car we often used to take our 1 year old daughter in the pram for lovely walks around the Colina Village area and into Carvoeiro. Mike's estimate of the time (25 mins) is about right. Although sometimes we had to use the road we did not encounter any difficulties. Regards, Paul J (Ireland)
