Thanks for all your helpful replies. We are here now and wish we weren´t!! What terrible weather we are having. Only Boxing Day so far has been nice. Went to Portimao today, absolutely chucked it down and came back to Carvoeiro on the next bus. Roll on Thursday when we go home!

What a shame for you as it can be so lovely and sunny at Christmas time
and New Year please don`t think it is always so wet and awful and perhaps
