Lost!abandoned dog Semarias Ferragudo area

When my wife was at the Island Cafe at Pressa de Moura on Saturday lunchtime she encountered a very friendly small white dog with black ears and body markings. It was male and was wearing a collar. It responded to commands in both Portuguese and English and obviously had been someone's pet. Very affectionate and desparate for attention. When went today to Praia Grande at Ferragudo the dog had turned up at the beach bar Escondadinho. It has been there since Sunday and is being fed there but it is clearly seeking its home and owner. If anyone is looking for him please go to the Escondadinho. Sadly given the time of the year I suspect he has simply been abandoned.

Wish this sounded like Bailey the Border terrier. it could be the one that he was seen running with on the Saturday early in the morning. Could someone pick him up and take him to the vet to see if he has a microchip? As you say he is lost and someone is desperately looking for him or so we must hope. The Refugio de Burros is very good at taking the strays in and looking after them. I think Peter's phone number used to be 96 5019796.
