Hogmany meal suggestions please??
Hogmany meal suggestions please??
Hi all I am accross for New Year and I am looking for folks suggestions of where to go on Auld years night for a bite to eat. There are 4 in total and looking to dine around 7-7.30 before winding down to some relaxing drinks in Round up hopefully........come on fire away with your 'impartial' thoughts!!
Re: Hogmany meal suggestions please??
Don't all rush at once mind you......strange as you are all usually quick enough to cast your 'reviews'....

I have sent you a PM
Re: Hogmany meal suggestions please??
Lots of places are open over Christmas - spoilt for choice. But most seem to close on New years eve. I would recommend you avoid the Chinese at the bottom of restaurant hill. Not very helpful, but the best I can do!

Why don't you phone some of the more popular restaurants in Cvo and see who is going to be open and then go from there with your choice.... Lucky you, would love to be out there for New Year, I can just imagine standing on the beach in a warm coat and scarf watching the fireworks.

I think the 'impartial' bit threw us all.dodger wrote:Don't all rush at once mind you......strange as you are all usually quick enough to cast your 'reviews'....
We usually go to Columbo's, nice & central, good atmosphere & we like the food.

We have found not much going on Christmas but have great New Years, we do Steak House then, Charlys, then Round up(def open this year) then finish of in Mungos.
Most places you have to book but we have never noticed a shortage of places open, sure you will have a great time
