The Bote

How's the Bote doing these days? Out next weekend (Fri - Mon) and the following (Fri-Sun) and was wondering if still worth a visit. Around this time last year there was a great classic rock covers band on a Saturday night and the place was full (with lots of locals as well). I think it has changed hands since then. Are there any other local recommendations?

The Bote is still open, I think it will close on Sundays now. It´s now run by the owner again. During last week it has been quite busy. If you´re looking for late bars, there are some of few closing down at 4:00 A.M. Try Zeca´s Bar at the entrance of Carvoeiro e.g.. He´s until 4:00 also on Sunday, or Absoluto Bar (next to him - but closed on Sundays) or LSD Bar. I think you´ll enjoy!
