Village Inn is a bit 'in the middle of nowhere'

Turn left at Lagoa towards Portimao and take the road for the old bridge and Parchal. Turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road up into the village, Mexilhoeiro de Carregacao, there is a large palm tree outside the restaurant.

It is quite small so you really have to book, even out of season, but definitely worth a trip.
