villa martinho in poco partido,carvoeiro, anyone know of it?

we booked a holiday villa with style hoildays, villa martinho, just wondering if anyone knows of it?? first time to portugal this july..can't wait!! poco partido,what's the area like, are there any shops within walking distance etc....

We stayed there for a week in 2005 renting through Style. It was a really nice villa, set in pretty grounds with the pool down a flight of steps. We rented four times through Style and all their villas are pretty good with some nice locations.

There's a restaurant at the end of the access road (track) which we didn't go in but is referred to on this site (can't remember the name something like O Imperio). Restaurant O Nuno's is near which we liked but we usually ate in CVO or near Pr da Marinha.

You need a car (which you get with Style bookings) to get to most of the bars, shops etc. The supermarket is probably a couple of miles away.

Not much in Poco Partido but a good base and easily accessible
