Weather

Post by Julie Robinson35 »

Hi, Can anyone tell me if the weather situation is likely to improve. We are staying in Carvoeiro from 24th May for a week and are praying the weather improves!

Also staying at the Tivoli Almansor, if anyone knows of any great restaurants near there (where can we get a great steak?), your advice would be very welcome?

many thanks

Julie x

Walk out of the front entrance, turn left, and within 300 yards you will come to the top of what is colloquilly known as "Restaurant hill"

More restaurants than you can shake a stick at

There's a monsoon going on in my garden.

Still better now than later, family start coming out from the end of this month. :D

Bruce is correct, on the left as you start going down the hill is A Rede who do very good steaks and chops. On the left again about half way down is Casa Do Bife who do stone steaks where you cook it yourself or just ask for it to be grilled. Have a great time and the forecast is much more sun and lots warmer. http://www.accuweather.com/world-foreca ... O&metric=1

Hi,

I hope it improves for you, we have been here since sunday, going home next Tuesday. Weather has been terrible the whole time. Bit of sunshine yesterday morning and that has been about it!

We ate at Maxime last night, and it was fantastic. I would recommend giving it a go!
