Cvo in early April

Hi,

My wife and I are coming over for a few days in early April. What is public transport like for getting around? Bus or rail.
Would appreciate suggestions of places to visit.

Think we would like to visit Lagos and Portimao.

Also have been reading restaurant section and made some notes, can anyone recommend reasonable places for lunches in Cvo as opposed to special places for evening?

Would appreciate comments.
