staying in val de milo
staying in val de milo
i'm playing on staying in vale de milo soon, does anybody know how long to takes to walk to the local supermarket at rocha brava and how much it will be in a taxi into the town centre, 1 more thing does anyone have a taxi number that speaks english????
Hi
Stayed at vale de milho quite a few times takes about 10 Min's to walk to rocha brava we go every morning for a newspaper there is a bit of an Hill on way back in to vale de milho but it is fine
Think it is about 3 to 4 euros in to town we have used the same taxi driver for 4 years and his English is fine.
Taxi : Jose m. piscarreta (00351) 968 087 386
We use his drivers all the time we are there and to and from the airport
Hope this helps

Hi
Think taxi to intermarche was between 3 and 5 euros can't remember exact price
First few years we didn't hire a car and found it no more expensive to use the taxis even going into silves and portimao
We hired a car this time as we had to travel around a lot more looking at properties but we still used taxis at night so we could have a drink

Buses
I believe you can get a bus from Rocha brava , vale de milho straight to intermarche . The shop in Rocha brava is very expensive , its worth the bus ride to get the cheaper prices , but stay on the bus and go to plus as their prices are better still . ( also they have better fruit and veg than Intermarche and modelo , but the fish in modelo is great , and the ladies serving are little diamonds who will advise on cooking the fish )
