Carvoeiro Golf Society?

Hi ALL, how many of you play golf? If you do would you be interested in creating a golf society? As we are moving there hopefully soon? I would love to help set it up and run and get golfers together. Are you interested? if so please post and let me know. Keep Smiling, Westygolfpro.

Hopefully people reading this topic can help me. I'm planning to bring myself and 3 other golfers out to CVO for a week in Oct or Nov this year. Flights and Accommodation are no problem but the cost of 3 or 4 rounds of golf is quite expensive. I know about Golf4Greys but given this is a once only trip in 2008 I doubt it will pay for itself.
We are members of a registered golf society although I doubt that will make any difference but is there a way of reducing the cost of the round. Its a guaranteed 4 ball for 4 rounds at the Pestana and Gramacho. Any assistance would be gratefully accepted. Cheers.

Please let me have details too. I have just played 6 games in the past 2 weeks using Rocha Brava discount at some and through GolfTeetimes Anywhere at others. An average of about 42 euros a round, quite a saving on the rack rate. Golf for Greys obtain discounts too, but there is a subscription and joining fee.

Go in November when some course start their winter rates.

example, Play last week many courses 42-60 euros, this week high season 65-90 euros.
