Looks like this is still a problem. My husband came back on this flight last night, it was delayed for 4 and a half hours. Finally landed in Manchester at 04.40 this morning! It was a Monarch Plane, huge airbus apparently. Took the shine off his golfing weekend spending nearly 6 hours at Faro airport.

I had a good look around this resort last week as I thought we could cut through to the tennis club to our apartment. There is still a lot of work going on both on the apartments and on the grounds. Had 2 lovely meals at Elliots last week. Owners there on both occasions. This restaurant is now one of our favourites. The chocolate cake with baileys sauce is to die for!

Tried it on Sunday night, it was quite busy. They had an excellent band called Black Puzzle playing, look out for them they were fantastic!

I would also recomend this restaurant, we had 2 lovely meals there over Easter. The food was fantastic, Alex made us feel very welcome and was great with the children supplying paper and crayons.

You can park on Car park 1 which is on the left as you approach the terminal. Can't remember exactly how much it costs but no more than a couple of euro's for an hour. You pay at the machine outside the terminal or there is one on the car park.

Yes there last week and as fantastic as ever. Live music Tuesdays and Saturdays, great as all the children were up dancing.

We also always use Economycarhire/Travel rent. Prices are hard to beat and no insurance excess! Only once had a problem when our hire car broke down, Travelrent delivered another one at 7am the next morning so I could pick my sister up from the airport. Excellent service.

We also love the restaurant on Caneiros Beach but I think the secrets out Tricky. There is a review/recommendation in the Easyjet magazine!
